Tired of those pajama sets from the grandparents? Have a friend or a neighbor who always compliments your child’s playing the instrument, or the one who always sends something on holidays? It may not be too late to send a heavy hint. And even if it is too late, earmark this idea for the next season, or maybe even a birthday!
We did some research, took some pictures for you, and posted it all here. Three steps: 1. choose the picture(s), 2. choose how to print, 3. write your appeal and send!
1. Pictures: we have some pictures in our Gallery for you to choose from, or you might have a better one of your own. A picture of your student(s), with a big grin and the instrument in her/his hands? Use it, and/or share it with us!
2. Print: Mail & Print , Rite Aid, or Walmart are just a few local options. With Mail&Print you can create your own card or ask them. You can even copy and paste the text, if pretty handwriting is not your strength. Rite Aid offers photo printing, with some customization options, and you can get it done in minutes as long as you brought your photos on a digital device with a USB input. Walmart offers prints that you can upload from anywhere. Here is an example of what you get for $0.40 a card. Pickup in store. 3. “Dear Grandma, Merry Christmas from me and my band! Please don’t worry about a gift for me this year. Rather, consider a donation into my band account, because my biggest wish this year is to go to Disney Performing Arts! Yours truly, Munchkin.”
Have fun. Let us know if you need anything. And hurry: only 13 days to Christmas!
